The Building Inspection Division is the Local Enforcement Agency designated by the State of California Housing and Community Development Department to enforce both the Mobile Home Parks Act and the Special Occupancy Parks Act enacted by the Legislature for the benefit of residents and users both inside and of parks in the unincorporated areas of the county to assure their health, safety and general welfare, to provide them a decent living environment, and to protect their investments in their manufactured homes, mobile homes, multi-unit manufactured, commercial modulars, and recreational vehicles.
