2009/2014 Housing Element - The Housing Element of the General Plan addresses housing needs and resources of the County unincorporated areas; and every five years the State requires every jurisdiction to update it. This is the most recent adopted Housing Element for Contra Costa County (adopted July 21, 2009).

Boat Storage Combining District Ordinance - This ordinance creates a new overlay or combining district for those areas zoned as General Agricultural (A-2) and Heavy Agricultural (A-3) to allow the establishment of boat and limited recreational vehicle storage area beyond the present one mile limitation through the issuance of a land use permit.

Enterprise Zone - The Pittsburg/Bay Point Enterprise Zone was recently approved. The Enterprise Zone Program targets economically distressed areas throughout California. Special state and local incentives encourage business investment and promote the creation of new jobs. The purpose of the program is to stimulate development by providing tax incentives to businesses and allow private sector market forces to revive the local economy.
