The mission of the Food Bank of Contra Costa and Solano is to alleviate hunger and provide an efficient, coordinated system for collecting and distributing food that reduces food waste and increases public awareness regarding hunger and food security issues in Contra Costa and Solano counties.

The Contra Costa Child Care Council provides leadership to promote and advance quality care and early education. Through a variety of initiatives, programs and services, the Child Care Council partners with parents, care providers, and the community to broaden the base of support for children, families and quality care and early education.
