Thank you to the more than 750 employees who participated in last year's campaign!

Times are tough, and many of us are donating time and money year-round to support very worthy causes.  Despite the economy's impact, Contra Costa employees once again came through for the community. 

More than $192,000 was pledged in the 2011 campaign, and those funds have made a difference in helping people in need.  The 2012 campaign is gearing up now, and you'll soon be hearing more about how you can participate.

This site is devoted to giving both donors and campaign volunteers information about the campaign.  County workers have proven time and again that they care about the citizens of this County, both on the job and with thousands of charitable donations. 

There are links to many charitable web sites.  The California Attorney General web site has financial records as does Guide Star and Charity Navigator.  The American Institute of Philanthropy's website grades charities and has articles about charity giving, as does Charity Navigator.
