• Inspections can be scheduled 6:30 am -11:30 pm, Monday - Sunday for the next business day through the Interactive Voice Response System (IVR).

Use our Online Permit Center to schedule building inspections.

• You will need to register for an account and you'll have access to schedule, reschedule or cancel your inspection. 
• Cancellations and reschedules can be done online before 6:00 AM on the day of the inspection. 
• If you have missed the cut off time to reschedule or cancel an inspection, please call (925) 646-4108.  

You will also see inspection time frame, inspection status and permit history in real time in our Online Permit Center.

• Inspections are performed Monday - Friday, 9:00 am - 5:00 pm, excluding federal holidays and mandatory office closures.
• If you are unable to keep an inspection, please call (925) 646-4108 to cancel or reschedule.
• A re-inspection fee may be applied if no one over the age of 21 is home or access is not provided for the inspector.
• Approximate time frames can be obtained after 8:30 AM on the morning of the inspection(s). Call (925) 646-4108 and when the recording starts press 1, 1, 1, 0(zero) to be connected to our call center who can provide you with your 3 hour inspection window time frame.
