Contra Costa County has contracted with Wilbur Smith Associates to create Trail Design Resource Handbook and perform a detailed review of the Ohlone Trail and the Contra Costa Canal Trail. The handbook is to facilitate and ensure consistency in the design and construction of bicycle trails throughout the county with a focus on intersection configuration. Additional information on the study will be posted here in the future.
