    General Info: Recyclables and yard waste are collected weekly on the same day as your garbage. The calendar for collection can be found on their website. Be sure the bin is visible to the driver. Place the bin at the curb the night before or by 5:30 a.m. on the day the recycling is to be collected.

    A recycling pickup for CRTs (computer monitors, TVs) is available for an extra fee that pays for disassembly and removal of hazardous materials. Additionally, up to 3 electronic waste items (computers, keyboards, etc.) without CRTs can be recycled curbside for an extra fee.

    • Motor Oil (Pour motor oil into clear plastic container with secure lid. Seal and place beside recycling bin. Maximum of 3 gallons per collection. Recommend calling ahead.)
    • Oil Filters (After removing the filter, drain the oil into the plastic container for recycling. Place the used filter in a heavy sealable plastic bag, such as a Ziploc freezer bag. Then place the sealed bag next to your recycling bin on the day of collection.)
    • Household Batteries (Place the batteries in a sealable plastic bag, such as a Ziploc bag. Then place the sealed bag next to your recycling bin on the day of collection.)
    • Compact Fluorescent Lights (CFL) (Place the CFL in a sealable plastic bag, such as a Ziploc bag. Then place the sealed bag next to your recycling bin on the day of collection.)
